Joel Bright, Horn

Joel holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin in horn performance. Joel is currently a member of the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra and the Victoria Symphony while still freelancing and teaching extensively throughout the Austin area. He has also performed with the Austin Symphony, Austin Lyric Opera, Mid-Texas Symphony, Brazos Valley Symphony, and Abilene Philharmonic. He held both the principal and 3rd horn positions in the Monterrey Symphony Orchestra in Mexico for three seasons. Joel is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in performance at The University of Texas at Austin under professor Patrick Hughes.
